Think 08, the UK’s major annual conference for sustainability in the built environment, has revealed a jam-packed line-up of big names for this year’s conference who will discuss the economic, social and environmental challenges in delivering sustainable environment.

Think 08 had previously revealed that Hillary Benn (UK’s Secretary of State for the environment, food and rural affairs), Ché Wall (director of green building in Australia), Gideon Amos (UK’s Town and Country Planning Association director), Sir Howard Bernstein, Peter Rogers MBE and Herbert Girardet were confirmed speakers but have today revealed the full line-up.

Richard Cox, Head of Energy at BAA will take part in the Re-thinking Energy session, Rob Watts, (Project Director at Stanhope ) and John Southgate (Director at Capita Symonds) will join the discussion on Zero Waste and Murray Coleman, UK Chief Executive, Bovis Lend Lease will take part in one of the plenary sessions. Other business leaders will also head discussions at the conference. Chief Executive of the UK’s Green Building Council, Paul King said: “We will not solve the global climate change crisis, nor tackle other environmental problems, without radical transformation of the built environment. As the science gets clearer, the need for us to take action becomes increasingly urgent. Think, affords us a timely opportunity to share ideas, discuss innovative ways forward and get under the skin of the green building debate."

The event will take place at the ExCel Centre in the Docklands area of London on the 7th and 8th of May.
