Schulz-architecture plans a 4-star wellness-complex for Liepaja

The Austrian office of architecture, schulz-architektur, is planning an exclusive 4-star wellness and business hotel in Liepaja, Latvia. The hotel, called “LIVLAND RESORT”, is situated in a nature reserve directly at the cost side. The duty for the architecture was to react very sensible to this special environment and local situation. One of the main goals was to interpret typical Baltic features into a new architectural design and create a kind of “trademark” for this region. The total area is up to 42.000m², including 250 rooms and suites and for example a public spa center.
