Planning go ahead for transformation of former Chelsea College of art site
Paul Davis & Partners and Gerald Eve have achieved planning permission on behalf of the Athos Group for a substantial residential development to be built on the former site of the Chelsea College of Art and Design. The proposals have been the subject of extensive pre application discussions with residents and planning officers of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The proposal aims to restore the fabric of both Manresa Road and Dovehouse Street, which adjoin the Kings Road. The new 0.13 Ha development will comprise 50,576 sq ft (4699 sq m) of sought after high quality residential accommodation.
The scheme will provide 25 new residential units, including 14 large private apartments, 3 private houses and 8 affordable units
