Six teams of consultants, including two from the UK, a collaborative team comprising Gareth Hoskins Architects with Landscape Architects The Paul Hogarth Company (TPHC), and Zaha Hadid Architects, have been invited to participate in an international competition for the masterplanning of a 23.2Ha site adjacent to the Baltic spa town of Jurmala in Latvia. Andrew Haley of TPHC was invited to take part in the Jurmala competition following a visit to Latvia and Lithuania organised by UK Trade & Investment in 2005. The 4 day event oganised by Buvkonsultants, will be held from the 25th-28th May 2006.
