CB2 embraces minimalist simplicity in a new collaboration with designer Ross Cassidy

The collection offers a variety of luxurious, timeless home furnishings and accessories reflecting Cassidy's aesthetic of understated elegance
Chicago, IL. (January 26, 2017) - CB2 today announced a new collaboration with interior designer and TV personality Ross Cassidy. Launching January 26 on and February 1 at CB2 stores, the "CB2 x Ross Cassidy" capsule collection brings the understated elegance and minimalist simplicity that have become the hallmarks of Cassidy's aesthetic to a range of home furnishings and accessories.

The collection captures Cassidy's penchant for creating spaces that are clean yet warm, simple yet special, and timeless yet statement-making. In the most luxurious collection from CB2 to-date, each piece was created using materials selected for their durability, sumptuous tactile experience and rich visual character, featuring a variety of key furnishings that are core to every home.
"I'm always looking for the perfect foundational pieces that won't compete for attention in a room. I'm excited to collaborate with CB2 to create just those pieces," said Ross Cassidy. "This collection was inspired by Zen philosophy, and the simplicity, functionality, minimalism and balance associated with it. I believe simplicity is very complex, and each and every detail in anything that is designed should be purposeful and considered. The edge of a tray or the lip of a tabletop can become a moment of discovery if one takes the time to design it properly. I applied this thoughtful approach to the collection."

Cassidy describes the collection as offering "essential pieces that everyone needs when furnishing a home, from a deeply comfortable sofa for lazy days of lounging, to a desk designed to serve as a stylish collector's piece, to an elegant table lamp narrow enough to fit on the shallowest table while maintaining a substantial presence."

"We had the pleasure of initially collaborating with Ross on our APT CB2 program, and have been eager to develop a collection with him ever since," said Ryan Turf, Managing Director, CB2. "It has been fascinating to be a part of Ross' artistic process, going from his original watercolor drawings - the initial step in anything he designs - to the final pieces. Ross' clean, minimalist designs evoke a feeling of modern luxury, which fits perfectly within the CB2 aesthetic."

The CB2 x Ross Cassidy collection features 33 pieces including lighting, accessories, rugs, pillows and furniture. The collection will be available beginning January 26 online at, and February 1 at CB2 stores.
