A geometric metal base and rich stone or wood tabletop form the unique Dusk Coffee Table. The octagon-meets-rectangle shape transforms when viewed from different angles. The Dusk Coffee Table was featured in the May, 2016 issue of Elle Decor as one of their ‘Top 10 Cocktail Tables'.
The new, smaller sibling of the Dusk Coffee Table, the Dusk side table plays with geometry and balanced angles to create a jewel-like table that appears to change shape at every angle. With its versatile square footprint, this table lives beautifully next to a couch and when used in pairs.
About the Collection
Geometric form, balanced curves, simplicity, and depth come together in Coil + Drift's latest collection. Here we deepen our investigation of natural materials and minimal design. We are interested in how these materials relate and inform each other in a clean, modern way.
Concentric circles carved into rich walnut create bold patterning with our June Mirror. Six hand-shaped legs support the plush, tufted cushion of the Sylva Daybed. Our Bishop Floor Lamp evokes the iconic curved street lamps on New York City's Williambsburg Bridge.
Coil + Drift's collection is designed by dancer-turned-designer John Sorensen-Jolink. Each piece is made in our Ridgewood, NY studio or in Pennsylvania where we work with a small family of skilled craftspeople.
Coil + Drift have also recently been made honourees for the inaugural NYCxDESIGN Awards in the Emerging Talent category, and have been named the winners of the ICFF Editors' Award for Best New Designer
