The new ARMCHAIR IN_TUBE arose out of research for new methods of joining metallic tubes that has resulted in an interestingly shaped chair that requires no welding.

Designed by achodoso studio, the chair is composed of a metallic structure with a seat of laminated wood. The chair was launched at the young designers exhibition at the Habitat Valencia Fair 2015.
achodoso studio carried out a long research process for developing new methods to join metallic tubes. An aesthetic feature of this technology is that, as there is no welding, different colours can be used in each part of the armchair.

The designed armrest is another main strength; the user is able to hang from it bags, backpacks, clothes, etc.
