Jane Withers and Michael Hanmer have recently launched a stunning collection of British wool lighting at Tent London, featuring a dipped dyed colour effect. The lighting is hand made in their studio using knitted tubular strands , which they have woven onto geometric shaped metal frames, and partly immersed into a dye bath, creating a vivid and striking colour effect.
Their new designs were well received by visitors and press at this year’s LDF with noted British designer Lee Broom adding them to his list of highlights of the London Design festival last week for Vogue magazine. Currently, during Wool Week their lamps can be seen on Saville Row and in a pop up exhibition on 4 Clifford Street, organised by Campaign for Wool.
They are currently working on a new website to go live soon, where the lighting range will be available.
