Wallmonds Shelves Frame

Wallmonds is a project that has been developed by the Studio of Gonçalo Campos in order to experiment and play with product typologies, communication methods, production and delivery to the final user, in a way that their work designing for other brands doesn't allow. This freedom and the direct link to the final consumer is part of the new paradigm shift they have seen in culture, and as born experimenters they decided to develop this new range of quirky and rare products, beyond any typical typology or production convention

The Wallmonds Shelves Frame is the fourth and last product of the Wallmonds series. Following the concept of the other Wallmonds, these shelves were designed for keeping things at hand, in an elegant and sculptural product. The shelves are enclosed in a solid wood frame, a feature that unifies the concept and also provides decorative appeal and their place on the wall.

Extremely robust and made for everyday use, the shelves were made to stand out and serve as a simple display for cherished and dear objects. Ideal for narrow entrances and living rooms, these little shelves allow one to create a composition with a selection of objects. The arrangement of the shelves was studied to support items of different dimensions, so they can be used as a place to leave keys and wallets or for decorative purposes, fusing aesthetics and functionality in one simple product.

Their construction is solid and simple, using Birch Plywood and Beech wood for the frame, with dimensions of 60x80x5cm. All the wood used is treated with natural oils.
