Sink and tap specialist Astracast has launched Dart; a new and exciting sink with an unusual and intriguing drainer and compact dimensions.
Whether it's a retailer looking for a distinctive model to attract discerning customers or a designer searching for a sink that will create a subtle focal point in a kitchen where space is at a premium, the Dart sink is sure to appeal.
The Dart sink's draining board features a subtle chamfered design that channels water back into the bowls. This design feature makes it look incredibly sleek and minimalist; great for pairing with contemporary kitchens. A new ultra smooth ROK® finish makes the Dart range not only feel great to the touch, but also makes it even easier to clean and maintain.
Dart measures just 43.5cm deep for the 1.0 bowl and 50cm for the 1.5 bowl; making it one of the slimmest models in Astracast's portfolio. This sink is a great option for compact kitchens where space is a primary consideration.
Manufactured from Astracast's high quality ROK® composite containing a high concentration of quartz crystals; an element recognised for being low porosity level. This makes Dart durable and tough, capable of taking potentially damaging knocks and impacts, and resistant to scratches, stains and heat. In addition, it boasts natural anti-bacterial properties meaning that it is easy to clean and to maintain.
Ensuring there is a suitable product for every project, Dart is available in four ROK® colours; Volcano Black, Sahara Beige, Opal White and Graphite Grey. Giving further choice, the design can be reversed to fit an array of kitchen arrangements and it 1.0litre or 1.5litre bowl versions are available.
Iain Entwistle, Product Manager at Astracast comments, "Its great when a product makes you look twice and Dart certainly does that with its effortless contemporary styling and compact form. This model is sure to appeal to consumers looking for something that will make their kitchen stand out and so we firmly believe it's going to be a really popular addition to our portfolio".
