Olly Stool
Junction Fifteen Monday 06 Oct 2014

Established in 2012 by two like-minded British designers David Lord and Ben Frost, Junction Fifteen create award-winning innovative and contemporary furniture full of character for the domestic and contract furniture market. Their Olly Stool is a contemporary take on the traditional tri-symmetric milking stool, with three identical steel legs intelligently welded together to appear self-supporting.

Each leg is formed in two halves and joined with a high quality seamless weld to create a continuous closed loop structure. The stool top features three bowling ball style finger holes for ease of positioning and carrying.

Stool tops are available in European Oak or American Walnut. The base is a powder coated mild steel finished in either liquorice black, post box red, New York taxi yellow or porcelain white.

The Olly Stool won the highly regarded ‘Design Guild Mark' in May this year. This award rewards the work of the finest British furniture designers working in volume production.

Lord comments: "Our pieces celebrate the versatility of tubular steel. Our Olly Stool's seemingly complex dynamic arrangement contrasts with the Stem Stool's and FL513's simplistic and elegant clean lines."
