Buster + Punch Wednesday 13 Aug 2014

Buster + Punch are about to change the story of the light switch forever with their ELECTRICITY range, to be launched officially at London Design Festival in September.

The very first light switch was invented in 1884 by John Henry Holmes, a small plastic white switch designed to be hidden from the eye and forgotten by the finger. After 130 years of neglect, the pioneering designers at Buster + Punch have decided to rejuvenate the home's most common fixture and put the spark back into the light switch.

ELECTRICITY is a range of solid metal light switches and dimmers, diamond-cut knurled to feel amazing with every touch, changing the act of switching on and off lights and making this a totally new experience. The switches and dimmers are flat plate and finished with Buster + Punch's signature solid penny buttons, to be opened only by using a British 1p coin.

With over 40 different combinations of metal finishes available, the switches and dimmers will suit any wall colour and any home perfectly. These finishes include Brass, Smoked Bronze, Marine Grade Steel, Matt White and Satin Black. An exceptional update on an interior accessory that was long overdue.
