Quarterre Wednesday 30 May 2012

In 2010 four friends, designers and bike fiends came together in the creative London district of Clerkenwell to form design studio Quarterre. Quarterre's distinctive approach and playful vision is led and defined by these four individual design talents; Daniele Ceccomori, Clive Hartley, Nick Mannion and Jason Povlotsky.

The designers' draw on their rich professional backgrounds and diverse personal passions to drive their work together; whether with clients in the Quarterre Design Studio, creating their Furniture For Bikes collection or developing bespoke bike storage solutions.

Their Furniture For Bikes range unites interior design with the cycling world and combines stylish form with function. These sculptural bike stands support everyday life on two wheels and address the challenges of owning and living with a bike in an urban environment.

Branchline is a stylish piece of furniture that displays up to two bikes with space efficiency. Designed to adapt alongside the owner's lifestyle, two sets of adjustable arms can accommodate a variety of bike frames. The stand can be leant against any wall or inverted to clear floor area in smaller spaces.

Made exclusively in England using FSC certified Bamboo held together by two powder-coated steel brackets, which can be used to fix the stand to the wall. The quality and sculptural lines of Branchline artfully frame any bike.
