Checkland Kindleysides’s re-launch of Levi’s UK Flagship store on Regent Street in London is based on a journey through an artisan’s working environment. Through two sets of huge factory doors visitors enter the main body of the store, which has been designed to have a clean and industrial look and feel, whilst a ‘courtyard’ transition space has been created to showcase exclusive product collaborations and art exhibitions.

Along the left hand wall, running over the stairwell, is the product gallery. The cowl panelling used in this area has been inspired by textile inspection cabinets and provides a canvas for Levi to create seasonal and promotional product stories.

Down the contemporary glass staircase to the basement is the ‘Inspection Room’ where key fits and finishes are displayed on tailor’s forms and in illuminated cabinets. Levi’s UK’s General Manager said: “With this store Levi's is aiming to offer its customers the ultimate brand experience. It is visually captivating whilst providing expert knowledge, product offering and storytelling. CK has created a place where craftsmanship and authenticity deliver the most genuine experience of the brand in Europe.”
