APARTMENT S, LISBON
Wednesday 10 Aug 2011
An apartment in downtown Lisbon, designed by FORWARD, aims at being a place of refuge for a young cosmopolitan couple who seekpeace and calm, forgetting the daily city buzz.
When we enter the house, we are surrounded by its sophisticated and relaxed environment. With light and comfortable areas, clean elegant lines and by the lighting shapes that emphasize the architectural details.
The neutral colours of the ornaments, ceilings and floors contrast with the metallic shimmers and light boxes, giving a sense of modernity with reference to the city buzz. At the same time, the interior expresses a cozy serenity, which is felt when going through social and private areas.
All areas were designed for both private and social living. The living-room is divided into a dining area, a lounge and home-cinema. The main suite, which is a true ‘refuge', was created as an autonomous area, includes a tv room, office, closet, sleeping area and spa.
This apartment is characterized by its timeless environment, clean and elegant, which come to life when occupied or experienced.
The international designer furniture alongside the Forward interior design selectively combine shapes and materials, that are part of the architecture whilst refelcting the characters of its owners which are further enhanced by works of art from national artists.
