Jimmy Choo reveals the design for their new retail concept set to make its debut in April 2014 at the company's Rodeo Drive store in Beverly Hills.
The new Jimmy Choo store design is one of sophistication and elegance. Richness has been achieved through the careful choice of materials rather than ornament, with soft-hues and subtle textures layered with shimmering surfaces to create depth of detail reflecting the dynamism and creativity of the Jimmy Choo product.
Sandra Choi- Creative Director of Jimmy Choo, wanted the new space to be a luxurious environment that would combine the refined detail of a haute couture salon with the intimacy of a fantasy closet. With an impressive track record in the retail sector, and meticulous attention to detail, she chose to enlist the help of London's David Collins Studio.
David Collins Studio combines imagination and creativity to bring to fruition luxury interior design and architectural projects across the globe. The Studio has redefined how people live through a series of bespoke and innovative works, each of which has a definitive sense of place. Their ability to create incredible spaces that are glamorous, sophisticated and yet extremely comfortable made it possible to successfully translate Sandra's vision.
Satin gold, rosa egeo pink marble and mink velvets tone with the oyster stone and mother of pearl chevron floor. Woven mesh in metallic tones and spherical glass pendants grant the space a certain allure.
Following its debut in the Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive store this April, the new retail design concept will be rolled out globally in stores including: Vienna, Las Vegas, Dallas, London (New Bond Street), Toronto, Macau, and Tokyo
