Portable Home ÁPH80
Wednesday 28 Aug 2013
Architectural studio ÁBATON have developed a series of portable homes to be placed anywhere. The ÁPH80 series are moveable and simple homes for two people with three different spaces making up the 27 sq m volume.
The home contains a living room and kitchen area, a bathroom and a double bedroom and can be manufactured in 4-6 weeks, transported by road and assembled in one day.
The design of the homes is simple with an environmental balance to reflect the ability to place the little buildings anywhere. It blends in with the environment thanks to its large openings that bring the outdoors inside.
The majority of the materials used are recycles and sustainable, with wood used throughout the interiors sources from regulated forests. The use of wood throughout the building not only adds calmness and balance but it is also hypoallergenic.
The exterior is clad in grey cement wood board, with a solid timber structure. The interior timber panels are made of Spanish fir tree dyed white and fully manufactured in Spain.
