Pylon
Foscarini Monday 07 Apr 2014

Industrial and contemporary chic is what defines the latest from Diesel Living with Foscarini. Pylon was designed by the Diesel Creative Team and brought to fruition by Foscarini's know how. Its name comes from the electricity pylons which inspired its solid structure and iron architecture. But it is its diffuser in coupled linen which gives it its unique style and this lamp its unmistakable personality.

Starting from its flat surface, folds and seams model the cloth like a suit transforming it into a three dimensional element with a solid and robust appearance like an industrial filter or a turbine component. The coupled linen diffuser rests on a metal structure like a straightforward garment embellishing its rough central body.

Available in hanging and floor versions - the latter of which can be made into a reading lamp by its height adjustment feature - Pylon's light effect is very soft and fits into both home environments (living or bedroom) and contract contexts and it is also perfect for public areas such as hotel receptions, restaurants and bars.
