‘Other Criteria' will exclusively launch a sumptuous collection of four individually designed hand-made rugs by Damien Hirst at their Hinde Street store in London. Each rug is based on one of the artist's iconic Spin paintings.

The spin paintings are emulated in the exquisitely detailed hand-knotted, 100% wool rugs. Customers will be able to pick their favourites amongst the titles, including Beautiful Saucy Spit Roast It'll All End in Tears Rug and Beautiful Abstract Landscape Pretentious Art Nonsense Rug. The rugs vary between two metres and three metres in diameter and come in very small, limited editions of three to seven.

Damien Hirst, born in Bristol in 1965, grew up in Leeds and studied at Goldsmiths College, London. Hirst's work can be found in several important collections worldwide, including Tate, London, UK; British Council, UK and MoMA, New York, USA.
