Taking its inspiration from rice fields, the Field table is built by parallel elements which form a flat surface and a structural topography underneath.
The birch plywood is certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and the table has a non toxic and biodegradable finish. There is also an efficient design currently under development which allows minimum resource waste during its manufacturing. It does not contain metallic or synthetic pieces.

Hector Esrawe (Mexico DF 1968) Industrial Designer by the Universidad Iberoamericana (1992), began his career as an independent designer under the Esrawe Studio firm. Founder and member of Nel Collective, he was also an Industrial Design professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana (1998 to 2002), founder and former Director of the Industrial Design Bachelor Program at Centro de Diseno, Cine y Television (Design, Film and Television Center) from 2003 to 2005, and current member of the editorial board at Arquine Magazine. Among his designs are arts and crafts products and interiorism projects. Hector Esrawe has been a guest speaker and has led workshops in Mexico City, New York, Prague (Brno), Helsinki and London. Won the Good Design Award 2012 for the Field Table. The Tori Tori restaurant, done in collaboration with Rojkind Arquitectos, has been awarded People's Choice 2012 AZ Award in the Architecture and Commercial Under 1000 sq.m. category, ArchDaily's Building of the Year 2011 award in the Hotels and Restaurants category and winner of the Best of Year Awards 2011.
