a monthly round-up of the world's best interiors and design stories
Jennifer Newman Studio is launching a new table and bench combination as part of its portfolio of inside-outside multi-purpose furniture.
The Trestle Table and T-Benches are a response to Architect and designer requests for workspace furniture that marries colour with simplicity and versatility. The table and benches have been designed for continual outside use but the uncomplicated content of the design makes it a flexible and multifaceted product that can lend itself to many uses such as cafe furniture, studio desking and meeting tables.
The tops of tables and benches are made from external specification ply from sustainable sources and the ply has added protection against biodegradation. The supporting legs are made from steel, departing from the normal Newman aluminium since weight is an advantage in the Trestle design, and the steel is protected by a special primer and powder-coating. Connecting inserts and bolts are in stainless steel. It's a robust product built for a long life.
Outdoor table tops come in Light Grey and internal tops in White. The legs to both table and benches come in Red, Sulfur Yellow, Black or White. Other colours are available to order.
