a monthly round-up of the world's best interiors and design stories
Founded in 1956 by the Golden family, Stylex develops refined seating concepts and solutions for the modern office environment while balancing aesthetics, value and ergonomics as well as investing in green technology.
In response to rave reviews from last year's SAVA launch, Stylex and designer Sava Cvek have taken SAVA another step forward with new finishes for the handsome, versatile line of executive conference and task chairs. Stylex is well respected for its attention to quality and detail and for its superior upholstery and finishes. In addition to the standard upholstery patterns and mesh/upholstery mix, this spring, SAVA will be available in a range of new upholstery options, colours and finishes to suit all tastes.
The SAVA ThinPad offers users an extra luxurious seat and back for those demanding a more cushioned experience. This new upholstery style works particularly well with the Edelman Leathers that Stylex has recently in-graded just for SAVA. Edelman's All Grain, Dream Cow and Royal Hide collections offer a rich tailored look that the ThinPad option shows off to great advantage.
The SAVA Euroback is an elegant new upholstery pattern that features a full pinched seam around its perimeter for a sleek, narrow profile.
At its launch, SAVA was originally offered in black mesh. Based on demand, a bronze was added to the range. For spring 2011, new mesh colours are silver-white and warm grey. As with all Stylex seating, the mesh version offers breathable comfort and contemporary appeal. The advanced technology used to apply the mesh to the seats and backs also permits the creation of a multi-tension seating surface. This allows for superior weight distribution, improved comfort, and better circulation.
SAVA offers maximum versatility and a just-right range of functionality for both task and conference applications at a competitive price-point.
