'Bubble chair' is a specially designed easy chair for the Nordic Sea Hotel in Stockholm.
The piece is designed by Alexander Lervik and produced by Moroso and is part of the overall concept in the re-vamp of the Hotel, where Alexander Lervik is also commissioned to design all the interior for the hotel's public spaces and 369 rooms.
The creation of the 'Bubble chair' was inspired by one of the core-features of the concept, water.
The inconsistently sized-up holes covering the shell of the chair symbolises waterdrops and is made with an upholstered seat and back and the shell in veneered wood.
