Teknion Introduces Conflux LED Workplace Lighting a multi-purpose lighting collection which derives optimal capability from advanced LED technology.

Overview Conflux is a comprehensive line of multi-purpose, multi-task lighting designed to derive optimal capability from advanced LED technology and distribute light via a simple form appropriate for modern offices.

Designed by Carl Gustav Magnusson, Conflux elevates the aesthetics of LED lighting. With its refined lines and precise details, Conflux suits any architectural context. The simple anodized aluminum profile incorporates subtle arcs that soften its angles, while the control console of molded glass has an appealing luminosity and tactility that invite the user to connect with the light. Innovation Conflux is the first LED lamp in the contract furniture industry to use a PIR (Passive InfraRed) sensor that works based on infrared waves emitted by the user's body, reducing energy use by turning off when not in use. PIR-based occupancy sensor is set to a determined interval of time the lamp remains lit after the work area becomes vacant. Conflux is the first lamp with a Powermat wireless induction charging system incorporated into the base, making it an autonomous power/light source and virtually replacing the need for cords and adapters.

It is the first LED lamp equipped with a 5-volt 500mA USB charging outlet for hand-held devices. Energy Efficiency Conflux requires only 9 watts of power to generate 1000 LUX of lighting, a significant improvement in efficiency. Strong Sustainability Story Conflux provides maximum re-use of parts, creating minimal waste. Steel, aluminum and plastic components making up 99% of the light by weight are 100% recyclable.

The lamp is comprised of four easily assembled components that require minimal packaging for shipping efficiency and end-of-life-cycle recycling. Conflux offers a life span of up to 50,000 hours. Conflux is lead-free, PVC-free and RoHs (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant. It is GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified, and Title 20 compliant (California energy efficiency standard).
