AIA appoint Roundtable Chair

Bryce D. Pearsall, FAIA, LEED AP has been selected Chair of the American Institute of Architects Large Firm Roundtable (AIA LFRT). Comprised of chief executives from more than 60 large architectural and engineering firms, the mission of the AIA LFRT is to further the special and unique interests, both national and international, of large firms by working with and through the AIA.

“I am honored to serve as the Chair of the AIA Large Firm Roundtable and appreciate the confidence my peers have placed in me,” said Pearsall. “The leadership role of the roundtable has never been more vital. The collective experience and wisdom of the membership will play a key role in helping firms, and the industry, emerge from this economic climate stronger and better able to meet the needs of both clients and architects.”

Pearsall is a managing principal with DLR Group and has been a member of the leadership team of the Phoenix DLR Group office since 1979. An active member since joining the AIA LFRT in 1990, Pearsall has served as vice chair and executive committee member since 2002.

“The AIA Large Firm Roundtable plays a strategic role for the architectural profession,” said Pearsall. “We are a sounding board and a filter to identify developing issues in the industry. The roundtable provides input and ideas and works with the AIA to ensure the architecture industry is championing design and serving the evolving needs of clients, communities and individuals.”
