CTBUH announce ‘Best Tall Buildings’ for 2010

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat have named the regional ‘Best Tall Buildings’ for 2010 and two exceptional architects who will receive ‘Lifetime Achievement’ awards for their involvement in the advancement of tall buildings at a ceremony in October. The ‘Best Tall Building Overall’ will also be announced at this event. Winners are as follows:

Americas - Bank of America Tower (Cook + Fox Architects)

Asia & Australasia - Pinnacle @ Duxton (various)

Europe - Broadcasting Place (Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios LLP)

Middle East & Africa - Burj Khalifa (Skidmore, Owings and Merrill)

William Pedersen of Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and Ysrael A. Seinuk, Ysrael A. Seinuk, P.C. are set to receive ‘Lifetime Achievement’ awards, the Lynn S. Beedle Lifetime Achievement Award and Fazlur Khan Lifetime Achievement Medal respectively.
