AECOM acquires Spanish firm

AECOM Technology Corporation, based in Los Angles, which provides professional technical and management support services for government and commercial clients around the world, has acquired INOCSA Ingenieria, S.L., a professional technical services firm with headquarters in Madrid, Spain.

INOCSA also has offices in Romania and Bosnia and a total of approximately 550 employees providing services including architecture, design, engineering, program management and urban planning.

The acquisition will help grow AECOM’s footprint in Europe while creating new opportunities for INOSCA staff, said John M. Dioniso, AECOM president and chief executive officer.

"INOCSA's expertise in segments such as transportation - especially high-speed rail, which is a focus for us around the world - energy, environment and water make it a natural fit with AECOM's worldwide suite of services," said Dionisio.

"Joining AECOM positions us to expand our geographic reach and seize new growth opportunities as part of a global enterprise," said Antonio Lorente del Prisco, INOCSA chairman.
