GM & AD Architects dissolved as partners go their separate ways

Glasgow architecture firm GM & AD Architects has been dissolved as its two founding partners, Gordon Murray and Alan Dunlop, go their separate ways after more than a decade together at the practice. Over the years, GM & AD Architects has been awarded more than 50 awards for architecture, published two books, ‘Curious Rationalism’, and ‘Challenging Contextualism’, and completed numerous high-profile projects, such as Glasgow Central Station, the Radisson SAS Hotel in Glasgow and the Athletes Village for the Commonwealth Games in 2009. Alan Dunlop is currently residing in the US, having taken a lecturing position at the University of Washington, Department of Architecture in Seattle, whilst GM & AD Architects continues operating under the name Gordon Murray Architects.
