Callison appoints 2 to board of directors

Seattle-based Callison elected two new members to its board of directors earlier this month - John Gish and Jim Rothwell.

Gish has more than 25 years of experience focusing on retail and mixed-use design His is currently working on project in Asia for clients including Shanghai Greenland Group, China Vanke, Ayala Land and China Merchants.

Rothwell, who has more than 25 years experience in architecture, has led the Callison’s corporate practice into specialty areas including speculative office developments, build-to-suit office buildings, corporate campuses, mission critical, high technology facilities and mixed-use developments. Jim, whose work for clients include Microsoft, Vulcan and Schnitzer, is currently Market Leader for commercial work in the Middle East region.

The other Callison board of director members are Chairman Bob Tindall; Executive Vice President Steve Epple and Executive Vice President Paula Stafford.

Callison also appointed an Executive Committee responsible for day-to-day management on firm issues: Tom Bahn, chief operating officer; Kipepeo Brown, marketing and communications director; Principals William Gartz and Martin Hill.
