yoo launches architecture division to debut in Istanbul

International design, branding and property investment firm yoo are about to launch a new addition to their company – yoo architecture. yoo has made a name for itself in the interior design industry with cutting-edge designs in hotels, resort developments and residential homes across the world. Now it intends to provide its clients with concept architectural solutions for both building and landscape.

The expansion is set to include all service aspects of concept design, including master planning and zoning, façade studies, massing and landscape design. Launching in September 2010, yoo architecture’s flagship development will be based in Istanbul, comprising of 137 apartments with yoo inspired by Starck interiors, a spa, swimming pools, design interiors and a residence club.

Chairman of yoo, John Hitchcox, said: “Our core creative team now offers a personalised, streamlined and consistent execution of the creative concept through all stages of the project: from the architectural designs to the interiors, fixtures, fittings and furnishings. Istanbul will offer a perfect cosmopolitan launch pad for our debut project as designers offering a complete architecture concept, where the exterior and interior designs are seamlessly integrated.”
