Zaha Hadid added to Stoke bus station shortlist

Zaha Hadid Architects has been added to the six-strong shortlist to in a contest to redesign a city centre bus station in Stoke. The competition was launched in an effort to find a multidisciplinary team to replace the current aged Hanley bus station with a new £12 million design and attracted 43 formal bids. Part of North Staffordshire Regeneration Partner’s scheme to revamp the city, the contest has received much interest from major architects, with firms including John McAslan & Partners and BDP now on the shortlist.
