Short list announced for Gateway Arch competition

Nine teams have advanced to the second round of a three-stage global design competition to redesign the grounds around Saarinen’s Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri. The nine teams now have until March 18, 2010 to complete their teams and present full qualifications to the competition jury. Following a review of credentials a shorter list will be named on 7 April 2010 and those finalists will advance to a Design Concept Competition.

The nine teams and lead designers are:
