Netherlands Architecture Institute appoints new deputy director

The Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAI) has announced they will enter 2009 with a new deputy director, Peter Haasbroek. The NAI commented that Haasbroek “ is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Rotterdam Art Centre, a member of the Consumentenbond Art Committee, and vice-chairman of the Consumentenbond Pension Fund. Due to his background and affinity with the cultural sector, the function of deputy director of the NAI is a logical and appropriate next step.”

The NAI will enter a new policy period from 2009-2012 and state that Haasbroek’s "versatility comes at the right moment now that the NAI is further developing in a variety of directions.”
