Woods Bagot open Shanghai office

International architecture firm, Woods Bagot has today become the latest firm to announce the launch of a new design studio in the East. The firm, which has operated in Asia for the past 25 years announced that it will open a new 35-strong office in Shanghai's financial hub, headed by Mark Unger, Principal.

“It gives me great pleasure to be in Shanghai to officiate the opening of our latest addition to the Woods Bagot’s network in China," said Ross Donaldson, Global Executive Chairman and CEO, Woods Bagot. "I am confident that the breath of talents in our Shanghai studio, together with those in our studios in Beijing and Hong Kong, will continue to deliver some of the most extraordinary and award-winning architecture designs for our clients in the region."

In China, Woods Bagot has more than 60 developmental projects across many cities, including Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Changsha and Shijiazhuang.

Woods Bagot’s major upcoming architecture projects in China include Shengyang South China Landmark Mall, Yi Xing Residential Complex, Qingdao Yongxin International Plaza and Foshan New City.
