Sofia Architecture Week kicks off

Sofia Architecture week starts today offering an international architecture event that promotes a 'vital dialogue and exchange of ideas between key players within the architecture industry, municipalities, professors, students, and interested in the subject citizens'.

This is the second year of the event but is the first where events are open to the public in a more expansive program. Besides an intense lecture weekend marathon, the event is hosting exhibitions, discussions and presentations with free access for all interested.

The events are organised by Bulgarian medium 1 magazine as part of the annual Sofia Design Week and is curated by architect Peter Torniov, and presided over by the Chief Architect of Sofia Petar Dikov.
