Alsop Architects confirm commitment post-Will

Alsop Architects, owned by Archial Group, have released a statement following the exit of founder Will Alsop advising of their continued commitment to delivering projects. "In light of recent developments the Directors of Alsop Architects confirm that they are committed to driving the office forward with significant new projects, coupled with an ambitious approach to architecture and the growth of the practice," reads the statement.

"With work on confirmed projects of a construction value of £380m underway at the studio in Battersea, London, and a number of interesting future project opportunities, Alsop Architects is looking forward to a rich and diverse portfolio of work internationally and in the UK.

"Major education, sports and mixed use development projects in the UK and Holland have recently commenced construction. Several projects are in planning including work in North America and Europe, with further opportunities in the Middle East."

The firm advised that they are led by directors Duncan Macaulay, Jonathan Leah, Max Titchmarsh, Shaun Russell and Maurice Evans, supported by associates Ed Norman, Wolfgang Frese and Uwe Frohmader.
