Hamiltons announce top dog breakaway

Following revelations earlier this week that five principals at KPF's London office were breaking away to set up a new firm, Hamiltons Director Robin Partington has followed suit to set up his own firm.

“After 8 years with the Practice, Robin Partington is leaving Hamiltons Architects to pursue new interests and opportunities," read the statement by Hamiltons. "Having been part of the team which has repositioned the business Robin has now decided to fulfil a life long ambition and establish his own practice, and will leave this autumn."

The London-based practice, with approximately 200 staff pride themselves on being 'built around our people'. Partington is one of eight Directors at the firm. A spokesman for Hamiltons said: “Robin felt that the timing of his move was about right coming as it does when a number of successful projects with which he has been involved are reaching completion. We wish him well with his future venture”.
