UIA appoint new administrative and financial administrator

The UIA has appointed Nicolas Jelansky to manage the UIA secretariat following the UIA Council meeting in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, which he attended.

Nicolas Jelansky graduated from the Ecole supérieure de commerce in Rouen, France, and is specialised in the management of not-for-profit organisations. Currently 38 years old, he has been an administrative and financial manager in the cultural sector for the last eleven years.

After serving as executive director to theatres and music festivals, he managed the Duchamp-Villon Theatre in Rouen from 2002 – 2009, where he assured the financial and administrative direction, organisation of international cultural events and administration of artistic productions.

Nicolas Jelansky is married and has two children. He is an amateur of architecture and contemporary music.
