Office opens in Abu Dhabi

Architecture practise RNL has officially opened an office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Abu Dhabi location is the firm’s fourth office, adding to its headquarters in Denver and offices in Los Angeles and Phoenix, USA.

“This clearly demontrates RNL’s commitment to the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) region,” said Pat McKelvey, senior principal at RNL, who will be relocating to Abu Dhabi to head up the office.

“We have been effectively serving our MENA clients from our USA offices for the past seven years. However, we realize that our presence on the ground in the region will only further improve client service and increase responsiveness. The Abu Dhabi area remains a strong market,” McKelvey added.

RNL, the master planner of the Burj Dubai development where the world’s tallest building is currently under construction, is working on a number of projects in the United Arab Emirates. McKelvey will be joining two other RNL employees who are already living and working in the region. RNL is a global, full-service design firm specializing in sustainable, integrated planning and design. Founded in 1956, RNL offers a continuum of design services, including architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, urban design and planning.
