Nightingale Associates is part of winning LIFT team as Bolton Rochdale and Heywood & Middleton (BRAHM) LIFT wins the "Best Health Scheme" award at the national Public Private Finance Awards 2009.

The award was allocated to the BRAHM LIFT Company, which was established in May 2007, in respect of its partnership approach and its success in developing a number of schemes to a tight schedule.

LIFT – Local Improvement Finance Trust – was developed by the NHS as a ‘vehicle for improving and developing frontline primary and community care facilities’ in local areas. Nightingale Associates is part of the BRAHM LIFT consortia, headed by Private Sector Partner Eric Wright Group.

Nightingale Associates, which specialises in the health education and science sectors, has worked on several successful schemes through the BRAHM LIFT scheme; the first to complete was the 626m², £1.4M Alkrington health centre in March 2008; followed by the £10.4m Breightmet Health Centre, at 5,700m2, and the £9.6M Nye Bevan House scheme at 3,997m². Works at Wardleworth Health Centre and Heywood Joint Service Centre are due for completion in the Autumn 2009.
