3XN and mad architects make six-strong shortlist for Porsche Design Tower Frankfurt

Six shortlisted practices have been selected in a closed competition to design the new Porsche Design Tower Frankfurt. The firms were chosen from a longlist of 20 participants and a winner will be announced in early 2015. The shortlisted design studios are as follows:

Neutelings Riedijk Architects

mad architects

The site in Frankfurt am Main is located in close proximity to the city centre in the European Quarter. This location is already populated with restaurants, shops, hotels, schools, and public transport links, and the specific site is adjacent to the Emser Brücke, with a link to Boulevard Mitte.
