Wright Around Chicago bus tour and Pedal Oak Park bicycle tour available this summer

Fans of Frank Lloyd Wright will be happy to hear that two guided tours of the late architect’s work will be running this summer in Chicago. The Wright Around Chicago bus tour and Pedal Oak Park bicycle tour will be offered from June until August/September 2014 and at a cost of $125 and $30 respectively.

The bus tour will commence inside The Rookery Light Court, remodelled by Wright in 1905, at 9.15am every Wednesday, and continue to the Frederick C. Robie House, Lake Shore Drive, Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio, and Unity Temple, concluding at 4pm. The tours will be available from 4 June until 27 August 2014.

The Pedal Oak Park guided bicycle tour will run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 6 June until 28 September, commencing at 9.30am and lasting approximately 2 hours. The tours will begin and end at Greenline Wheels and guests are invited to bring their own bicycles. If needed, Greenline Wheels will provide bicycles at no extra cost.
