Architecture & Design Film Festival to be held in Los Angeles for the first time in March 2014

Following five successful years in New York, the Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF) will be held in Los Angeles this March, exploring art, architecture, design, fashion and urban planning. Set for 12-16 March 2014, the event will be hosted by the Los Angeles Theatre Center with the schedule showing 30 feature-length and short films alongside Q&As, panel discussions and reception events.

Films on show include: If You Build It by Patrick Creadon, following a group of students in North Carolina challenged to reinvent their town and consider ‘their own sense of what is possible’; the Human Scale on the work of urban planner Jan Gehl; and My Brooklyn which looks at the positive and negative impacts of gentrification.

ADFF Founder and Director Kyle Bergman comments: "Los Angeles' blend of architecture and passion for film make it a natural fit for the Architecture & Design Film Festival. There is no other city in the world with this rich combination. Our plan is to make LA a permanent part of the festival circuit that now includes New York and Chicago, expanding our scope from coast to coast.”
