Experienced practice leader Ross Wimer to join AECOM team in the Americas

After 18 years at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Ross Wimer, FAIA has joined international multidisciplinary practice AECOM to lead the firm in the Americas. Wimer has collaborated on many schemes including Changi Airport Terminal 3 in Singapore, the Chicago 2016 Olympic Bid Master Plan, the Infinity Tower in the UAE, Zhengzhou Greenland Plaza in China and the Marina Bay Master Plan in Singapore.

“We’re very excited to welcome Ross,” said Bill Hanway, AECOM’s executive vice president for Buildings + Places, Americas. “After an intensive global search, it became clear that Ross had the vision, talent, and experience to reinforce a culture of architectural excellence and to embrace our focus on integrated practice.”
