Benoy celebrates five years in Singapore

International design firm Benoy is celebrating five years of successful work in Singapore. The team began as an office of two employees back in 2008 and now operates with a full staff of 25, continually working in partnership with local and international developers throughout Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and India.

Benoy first established itself in Singapore with ION Orchard, a 125,000 sq m shopping centre complete with art gallery, leisure deck and residential tower. Five years on and the practice has now secured the role of Lead Concept Design Architect and Interior Designer for the new Terminal 4 at Singapore Changi Airport.

Global Managing Director Simon Blore reflects: “Singapore is an incredibly exciting and dynamic environment for Benoy. Since entering the market in 2008 with ION Orchard, Benoy’s presence has grown in a remarkably short time. The Singapore market demands innovative and distinctive architecture and Benoy has become recognised for its contemporary yet enduring design, paving the way for many more years of success in the Lion City and Southeast Asia.”
