FENDER KATSALIDIS ARNEY launched in London with 30-strong power team

A boutique design firm has been launched in the London borough of Southwark today following a merger of Earle Arney’s London studio with FENDER KATSALIDIS. The newly-formed FENDER KATSALIDIS ARNEY (FKA) blends elements of art, architecture and interiors in the workplace, lifestyle and public sectors.

The London studio of FKA is a team of 30 experienced individuals including several senior directors from practices such as Foster + Partners, Woods Bagot and Gensler. In merging the two firms, the newly-created FKA now boasts 150 employees in Sydney, Melbourne and London and is working on a number of high profile projects such as the CAD$1bn Brookfield Place Calgary development for Brookfield Office Properties.

Earle Arney, Director and MD of FKA said: “As a Londoner it’s tremendously exciting to launch our new studio in Southwark. The incredible talent and expertise of London enables us to export our services globally and simultaneously draw on our international experience to bring the best of global thinking to our great city. We have been delighted at how many of our clients and colleagues have placed their trust in us.

“We think this is in part symptomatic of the changing nature of our profession in which it is no longer about size but whether you have the best talent, are the best collaborators you possibly can be and harness the best technology. At FKA we realise that we are only as good as our people and we are blessed to have a great team with whom we have worked for many years.”

A full profile feature on FENDER KATSALIDIS ARNEY will follow on WAN shortly.
