Luxury hospitality brand Waldorf Astoria has expanded into the United Arab Emirates with the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah. The 346-room hotel retains the opulence of the international brand but introduces local touches, including a Waldorf Astoria Spa with treatments incorporating indigenous herbs and rituals.
Designed by Italian architect Maurizio Papiri, the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah boasts generous room and suite sizes, an 18-hole championship golf course, a 350m-long private beach, two temperature-controlled outdoor pools, a nightclub, cigar bar, outdoor and indoor dining options, and multiple entertainment facilities. The hotel will also be targeting the corporate sector with top-end meeting and board rooms, supported by a full business centre.
