WAN AWARDS shortlisted pavilion KREOD prepares for world stage at Rio Olympic Games in 2016

On Thursday 12 September 2013 the KREOD team will host a launch event in Mayfair, London to introduce the pavilion to more than 200 business leaders, decision makers and entrepreneurs from the UK, China and Brazil. The networking and launch event will provide opportunities to foster new business relationships ahead of the Rio Olympic Games in 2016.

Headed by architect and Managing Director of KREOD, Chun Qing Li and Chairman of Blackbridge Cross Borders, Alexander Jarvis, the 300 sq m KREOD pavilion is a cluster of three pods and was showcased at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The project recently made the shortlist for the inaugural WAN Façade of the Year Award.

During the Rio Olympic Games in 2016 a version of the pavilion - seven times larger than the original - will be available, presenting ‘real opportunities for economic growth and prosperity from which a combined population of 1.6 billion people in Brazil, China and the UK can only benefit’.
