Immersion tour for India's leaders in infrastructure, real estate and government planned for September

The Leaders Study Retreat on Urban Innovations is hosted by The Urban Vision, a Think & Do Tank in collaboration with Columbia University’s Centre for Urban Real Estate and Studio–X between September 23-26 2013 in New York City. It is aimed at senior leaders from India’s Infrastructure, Real Estate Sector and Government.

The immersion tour is designed to create opportunities for exchange on innovation in a wide spectrum of issues in the arena of built environment, planning, city building, real estate and infrastructure development. The itinerary will feature extensive and intimate meetings in New York with leaders along with a series of site visits.

The objective of the program is to create ways for participants to better understand and learn about innovations in city building in New York. The program will allow participants to increase their knowledge of the city’s innovations through experiential learning.

The goal of the program is to empower leaders with knowledge on innovations in urbanism that can be applied to the challenges and opportunities in India’s growing infrastructure and real estate sector.
