Planning permission for Folkstone Seafront

Farrells' masterplan for Folkestone Seafront in the UK has been endorsed by Shepway District Council. Members agreed officers’ recommendations to approve the outline application, subject further to the signing of a section 106 agreement.

The decision was made by the full Council at the end of July, reflecting the importance of this development to Folkestone’s future. Securing outline planning permission is a vital step to establish clear design principles and an overall vision for the site.

The masterplan aims to reconnect Folkestone with its seafront, creating an exemplary development and building on its rich local heritage and existing natural environment.
